For statement

The for statement is the standard looping control. The syntax is the keyword for, parameters for the starting value, ending limit and loop increment, and the body of the loop.

for (int i=0; i<10 i++) {
   print("i="+i);
}

In this example the starting value is a newly declared variable named i, the limit is that loop will end when the value of i is no longer less than the value of 10, and at each time through the loop the value of i will increment by 1.
