Route Destination Reports

The information for the Route Destination Reports is derived from the Route Table (source data table), which can be accessed in the Table Viewer. The tables are entitled 'Route to destination.destination name'. The actual reports can be accessed in the Report Writer directory tree entitled 'Route to destination.destination name'.

The CSV sub-report is the simplest formatting but contains an incredible amount of routing information. Only four columns exist: Segment, Fnodee, Tnode and Fixed. 'Segment' refers to the individual segment number, and the direction of the route is determined by 'FNODE' and 'TNODE' node numbers (FNODE = from, TNODE = to). Fixed refers to whether or not the segement is available to the model (false = available or true = unavailable or 'hard-coded'). For example, from the sample dataset, the csv file "route_destination.Mill1.csv looks like:

	    SEGMENT,FNODE,TNODE,FIXED
	    6,1,24,false
	    42,2,66,false
	    53,6,76,false
	    55,7,79,false
	    61,8,83,false
	    65,11,88,false
	    24,14,47,false
	    ...

Depending on the number of segments available in the route layer, and the number of segments required for the scenario the CSV sub-report has the potential to be enormous! For this reason the CSV route report is compressed by default to conserve space when saving out a scenario. It is this information that is required when reloading a saved scenario, as it instructs the model which segments to use, in which direction for which time period.
