You now have a complete Patchworks road model to use in your analysis, however there are still two important steps required:
Create the proper route accounts that will be loaded into the model to summarize the transportation problem in a way that is meaningful for your analysis. See the section on Defining Route Accounts (the section called “Route Accounts”) and follow the steps using the PIN Builder to load all your hardwork into Patchworks.
Validating the connectivity of your road network once the model is loaded is an important part of the building process. Patchworks provides a number of tools to identify unconnected blocks or unconnected segments in the network. It is important to identify these errors so that wood will flow across the network in the way it was intended. See the section below the section called “Correcting Route Connectivity” for more details.
