Oracle Java licensing has changed. Information about the new options for obtaining Java are contained in the "Java Options" appendix to the User Guide. The Patchworks installer and the Install Guide have also been updated to accommodate alternate Java options.
The C5 sample dataset is provided with Patchworks to help demonstrate features and assist with learning. The initial location of the C5 sample dataset is within the Program Files folder, but this location is read only. In order to make changes or save results, the sample must be copied in to a user writeable directory.
A feature has been added so that the first time that the Application Launcher is started a prompt will be displayed asking to copy the C5 sample model in to the Patchworks folder within your Documents folder. Selecting yes will make a copy of the sample.
The prompt will only show one time.
Minor changes and fixes:
The ScenarioSet tool will provide a warning if the scenario folder is not writable.
Patchworks now creates a folder within your Documents folder. This folder is used to contain miscellaneous files, such as default tool settings.
