Reports are one of the most important outputs of the Patchworks model. Reports can record the state of the simulation, summarize account or attribute information, or even provide maps over various time horizons. Reports summarize data from various data sources to help you evaluate how well the proposed harvest schedule meets your management objectives.

A fresh Patchworks model will have a few predefined reports that describe basic simulation conditions, but for the most part reports need to be defined as part of the customization phase of setting up the model. Patchworks provides a number of templates to summarize scenario results and even compare between scenarios. Most reports can be defined using Wizards that provide an easy to follow set of dialogs.

Reports can be saved as scenarios and viewed outside the model in your web browser. For detailed instructions on how to develop and add reports to the model, go to Creating Reports.
