sqrt — Returns the correctly rounded positive square root of a number.

Syntax

sqrt(number)
              

The SQRT function has the following argument:

number

The number for which to determine the square root.

Description

If the input value is less than zero then the special "Not A Number" value will be returned and will propogate through subsequent calculations.
